Zheng Jianlong, male, Ph.D (Road Engineering), Chang’an University, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, School of Communications and Transport Engineering, Changsha University of Science & Technology, Director of MOE Key Highway Engineering Lab and National Highway Service Technology Lab; devoted to basic research, scientific and technological development, engineering practice and talent training in the area of road engineering and resolved a series of major scientific and technological problems in expansive soil subgrade and asphalt pavement design, construction and service manage over a long period of time, publishing more than 200 academic theses and 5 academic works. His research achievements have been successively honored with one 1^st Prize and one 2^nd Prize of National Science & Technology Progress Award (ranking the first for both) and one Special Prize, six 1^st Prizes and thirteen 2^nd Prizes of Provincial and Ministerial Science and Technology Progress Award. He was granted with “Special Allowance of the State Council” in 1993 and evaluated as “National Young and Middle-aged Expert with Outstanding Contribution” in 1996, and he has been successively awarded with such titles as MOT Top 10 “Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Communications Science and Technology”, Hunan “Guangzhou Science & Technology Award”, “Hunan Leading Talent of Science and Technology” and “National Outstanding Science and Technology Worker”.
