XuJunlan, a professor of Chongqing Transportation University, was rewarded withGovernmental Special Allowance from the State Council of China in 1994. She hastaken charge of the research of Long-Span Suspension Bridge Structure System, aNational Nature Science Foundation of China and participated in the design andscientific research of many bridges in Chongqing, Guangdong Humen Bridge,Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway Xicheng River Bridge, Guangxi Jinglan Bridge andsome other bridges. Suspension Hanging Basket Design raised by her wasawarded the Second Chongqing Technology prize. She has obtained the Science andTechnology Progress Grand Prize of Ministry of Transport for Jinglan BridgeProject. She has won Sichuan Excellent Teaching Achievement Prize and theSecond Prize of Excellent Teaching Material, Bridge Engineering(the secondvolume), awarded by the Ministry of Transport. What’s more, she used toedit many famous works.
