  • About the author

Since it is not only the matter of material engineer to promote the durability of concretebridge, the book aims to discuss, from the angle of structure engineer, the durability design method of concrete bridge. Its contents mainly include: introduction, framework for structural durability design of concrete bridge, concept design bridge based promotion of durability, rational bridge status and longitudinal prestressed bar scheduling design, web crack-resistance checking and computation and design method, bar scheduling design method for prestressed anchorage section, bar scheduling design method for pier top cross beam, closure beam radial force effect analysis and crack-resistance design, durability design and construction method for resistance against ambient corrosion. It covers the new ideas of durability at home and abroad as well as some research achievements of the author.

The book can be used as reference for engineering technical personnel engaged in bridge design, construction and research as well as teaching reference for college teachers and students of civil engineering.

Ji Lin: participated completely in the project construction and management of Jiangyin Bridge and Runyang Bridge; now as Chief Engineer of Jiangsu Changjiang River Highway Bridge Construction HQ; granted with the title of “China Highway and Transport Society 100 Outstanding Engineers” and entitled to the special governmental allowance of the State Council.Liu Zhao: male, professor, Ph.D.,doctoral supervisor, national Class-1 registered structure engineer, Director of Bridge and Structure Engineering Committee of China Highway and Transport Society and member of IABSE. Research subjects cover Su-Tong Bridge, Runyang Bridge, Taizhou Bridge, Hangzhou Bay Bridge, Nanjing No. 4 Bridge and other large bridge projects; published 3 monographs, winning 4 prizes of provincial and ministerial science and technology advance award. In recent years, the major research direction covers: basic theory and design method of concrete bridge, design theory of large-span bridge, steel-concrete composite bridge and bridge seismic resistance.
